Harry Kane, who in recent years is England’s most prolific striker, could be tempted by a move away from Spurs as a result of the North London clubs lack of trophies. The Spurs striker burst onto the scene in 2014/2015 scoring 21 goals in 34 games; collecting a number of individual awards including 2 Premier League golden boots, 2017 PFA Premier League team of the year, and most recently the World Cup Golden Boot.
However, the Englishman is yet to obtain success with fellow teammates following the recent loss in the Champions League final against Liverpool. It’s therefore no surprise he is being linked to the likes of Barcelona and why we ponder the question: does he stay or go?
Speculation about Kane’s future has risen after poor recent results for Spurs, who find themselves down to 11th in the table. Losses against Brighton and Newcastle as well as a 7-2 thumping at home in the Champions League against Bayern Munchen. Following Roy Keane’s comments on Manchester United lack of goals, Kane is likely to be a top priority for Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who sees a potential combination alongside fellow England international Marcus Rashford.
“Just go and get him. Just get Kane,”Keane on the Spurs striker and who United need up front
The red of Manchester may tempt Kane away from North London, with Ole building a talented young squad.. Experience is needed to give United backbone; that’s where Kane steps in. Kane would join fellow internationals Lingard, Rashford and Maguire at Old Trafford, who are all regulars in the United squad.
At the age of 26, Harry Kane needs to make a decision on his future. Regardless of club loyalties or family connections, he has to make a choice. Tottenham’s last trophy was in the 2007/08 season and they have only reached 3 finals since, all of which they came home empty-handed.
