According to El Chiringuito TV, Manchester United have launched an €88m bid for Athletic Bilbao forward Iñaki Williams.
The Spanish forward was born to Ghanian parents but grew up in the Basque country, meaning that he is able to feature for Bilbao, who have a tight transfer policy regarding homegrown players.
Pace, power and a final touch that is gradually improving; the 25-year-old has developed into a fine talent. Williams featured 38 times last season in La Liga, scoring 13 goals and making four others. Averaging almost two dribbles a game can be rarity, but Williams achieves this. A direct threat and an increasing goal tally. What a signing.
This acquisition would continue Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s philosophy of building a direct side that pose a threat on the counter attack. With the rise of Mason Greenwood as well as Daniel James, Ińaki Williams to Manchester United could be what the Theatre of Dreams are looking for.
Under 24 hours until the transfer window is closed. Manchester United fans: What do you think of this signing?
