After their Dane maestro admitted he thinks it is time he should leave the club, Spurs look to have found their replacement in Giovani Lo Celso...
According to The Independent, Tottenham are preparing another bid closer to the £88 million release clause the Argentinian has, it would see the North London club shatter their previous record fee of £55 million for Tanguy Ndombele. With Phillippe Coutinho publicly rejecting Tottenham, Lo Celso would not be a bad alternative.
A nimble left foot, Lo Celso has impeccable vision and the ability to function at both the base and head of a midfield. He contributes going forward too, grabbing his fair share of goals.
In hindsight, after posting world-record profits of £113 million, breaking the record Liverpool set recently of £106 million, Spurs are likely to be a force in this summer’s transfer window; looking to cement their status as one of Europe’s best.
Bringing in Lo Celso, who racked up 16 goals and six assists in his first campaign with Betis after moving from PSG and was one of La Liga’s stars, would certainly highlight Tottenham are here to stay. What are your opinions Tottenham fans?
