According to The Guardian, Everton have agreed a deal for Juventus forward Moise Kean, the fee around £29m. What would the Ivorian-Italian bring to Everton?
The 19-year-old played 13 times for Juventus last season, making 8 of those from the bench. He managed to bag an impressive 6 goals in those appearances, a more than tidy return.
Moise Kean is the quintessential 2000-born forward. Dynamic dribbling and an unbeknown assurance in his own technique, he bares an unpredictability that startles defences. He has a flair that academy players like Harvey Blair and Alex Mighten here in England can copy. Trailblazer.
It is rare to see a player with such raw talent in front of goal, especially with both feet, but Kean, similar to Kylian Mbappé, has a knack of finding the net. Italy cap to his name, Kean is ready to be the main man in a frontline, be it at Everton or somewhere else.
Juventus certainly looks like a no-go. Ronaldo, Dybala and potentially Lukaku, it seems as though just 600 minutes in all competitions last season has frustrated the youngster, and a move to Everton could be just what he needs.
The Merseyside outfit have slowly slipped away from the top six. Perhaps the ridiculous spending of the other members of the Premier League, or their own poor investment, but the Moise Kean signing has a different feel about it. Young and for a price that is reasonable in this market, this could be one of the signings of the season…
