Paul Pogba tells Manchester United he wants to leave

The Paul Pogba transfer saga and speculation does not seem to go away.

From an interview of the Frenchman looking for a ‘new challenge’, United’s strong links to Bruno Fernandes and now Mino Raiola suggesting that he has told Manchester United he wants to leave.

The midfielder despite having an exceptional individual season with over 16 goals in all competitions, was still heavily criticised in the Red Devils’ chaotic 2018/19 season. Perhaps harsh considering there were many other players who underperformed and contributed to Jose Mourinho’s sacking.

“Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.”

Now after Zinedine Zidane’s incredible summer spending spree, Pogba’s constant flirting with Los Blancos and hints towards ‘a new challenge’, it is no surprise Raiola has come out with his client’s intention to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Different outlets are reporting different deals that Madrid are lining up to tempt the Red Devils to let go of their record signing and best midfielder. Mundo Deportivo are suggesting they have offered around £70 million + either Gareth Bale or Isco for the world cup winner.

United have continued to come out despite these latest advancements saying they expect Pogba, who is currently in New York on holiday, to be a Manchester United player next season and return for the upcoming pre-season tour of Australia.

It has been suggested though that the English giants would consider letting their prized asset leave for Real or Juve for a fee in the region of £150 million. Whether the current reported offer by Madrid is acceptable by United’s standards will be determined in the coming days.
