Bayern Munich bid £70 million for Manchester City star
With a lack of game time in a star studded Manchester City side, Leroy Sane is subject of serious interest from Bayern Munich.
The German champions will say an emotional farewell to long serving servants Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery after tomorrow’s German Cup final, a duo that have terrorised European defences for over a decade now. Yet they’re wasting no time to find a replacement.
According to reliable transfer source, Fabrizio Romano, the Bavarians have submitted their first bid of €80 million for the 23 year old. Sane has enjoyed another stellar season for the Citizens, with 20 goal contributions in 31 games to help Guardiola’s side lift back to back Premier League titles.
Given their unsuccessful pursuit of Callum Hudson Odoi in January, it’s evident Bayern want to find the next world class winger to help solidify their domestic monopoly and challenge for Champions League glory.
Inter stepping up pursuit for Manchester United striker
An underwhelming two seasons at Old Trafford since his £75 million move from Everton and suddenly Romelu Lukaku could leave Manchester this summer
The 26 year old has struggled to make the impact Red Devils fans thought he would make after his switch from Merseyside, often going missing in big games and failing to take games by the scruff of the neck. The never ending criticism about his first touch and bulking up doesn’t help matters either…
Inter Milan are repotedly on the cusp of securing the signature of Antonio Conte with Luciano Spalletti, who has been an admirer of the Belgian since his time as manager of Chelsea.
The Nerazzurri are reportedly preparing a £50 million bid for Lukaku, but United are holding out for £70 million to recuperate as much of the money they paid for him in the first place. He has also reportedly agreed personal terms with the Italian giants.
Arsenal forced to pay £30m if they want Fraser
This season can well and truly be seen as the breakout for Ryan Fraser. The Scotsman had 7 goals and 14 assists and, at 25, he will only get better.
According to inside man John Cross, Arsenal seem very keen on the winger, but are determined to not let the fee inflate towards the £30m mark. This could depend on whether Arsenal manager to beat Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku. A side playing Champions League football is extremely hard to turn down…
For some time, Arsenal fans have been desperate for an out and out wide player, someone with pace; they may finally have that with Fraser. With plenty of time to get deals done, you’d hope Arsenal can get this deal over the line.
