Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Brentford centre-back Chris Mepham, which will make him their 3rd signing of the January window
According to Sky Sports News, a £12 million fee has been agreed between both clubs, with Mepham due for a medical at the Vitality Stadium today.
The Welsh international has been on the Cherries’ radar for over a year now, after they have bids rejected last January for the player.
The 21 year old has been at the heart of The Bees’ defence, performing well in a Brentford side that has been average to say the least (apart from Neal Maupay).
After 50 appearances at Griffin Park, it seems like his future is all but confirmed to be in the Premier League.
